My watchmaker won't even touch touch most anniversary clocks because most are junk. I like this movement much more than a typical anniversary clock which uses a very fragile metal ribbon spring which is easy to break and, if you can find someone who will replace it, it is very expensive. This movement retails anywhere from $200-$400 depending on how good a deal you can get. It runs a bit fast, but I have never tried to adjust it, I just move the hands back a few minutes from time to time. I figured the best I was going to do was to get a spare glass dome but it was a pleasant surprise.
